Mobile out of order

 Yesterday a funny thing happened. All of a sudden my phone display vanished. Absolutely no display could be seen. It was funny. How one can live without mobile even for a day?

Ring of incoming calls was clearly heard.

Notifications of whats app or phone message were audible.

Whats app call tune was clearly heard.

But, I could not receive calls either phone calls or whats app calls. I could not see the messages or whats app nor could operate or even view Facebook, Most of all, I was not able to call anybody, message anybody or post on facebook or instagram. 

For a while, it was a panic situation. Had never imagined a situation without mobile. And add to that Vasudha madam started taunting "I was telling you for long to get a new mobile. This has become old. (Lucky, did not say - like you) Listen to me some times," More panic situation. By the time, Vasudha posted on family group "Baba's mobile not working. Display gone". Children started querying on what happened. Dis the phone fell down? Did you hit somebody/something with Phone? 

Then I realized, though I can not call or send messages, I can use earphone to receive the calls. It was bit cumbersome. As soon as phone rings wear earphones, connect to mobile and receive the calls. 

I received around 5/6 calls like this. All except one were either property calls or marketing calls. Only one was official call,  Suddenly realized that more than 90% calls or messages are not of any importance in our life still we rush to receive the calls or impulsive to read the messages immediately on the receipt of notifications. So do not rush on notifications, if important the person will call. If I could not receive call, person will call on Vasudha's mobile. So relax.

Slept very peacefully without having phone at bed side. Morning was fresh, no hurry to check messages. Had tea, read news paper. Felt relaxed. Could stay without mobile for a day and it was totally OK. Nothing wrong.

No doubt mobile is required. Still doing some work so official calls messages will be there. Need to be in touch with friends and relatives. So purchased a new mobile. It will be operational by tonight. But will try to reduce mobile time. See the messages and respond at fixed interval only. I do not know how much I will be successful in but will definitely TRY.

गेले ते दिवस

सहामाहि परीक्षा संपली की दिवाळीच्या सुट्टीचे वेध लागायचे. तसेच किल्ल्याचेही. मीत्रमंडळीत चर्चा सुळरु व्हायची. माती आणायला नदीकाठी कधी जायचे. कुणी कुणी जायचे? कुणी म्हणायचे मी नाहीय किल्ला करायला ...परवा आजोळी जातोय. दुसर्‍याला लगेच आठवायचे... अरे मी पण मामाकडे जाणार आहे. तीथे आम्ही शेतात किल्ला करणार! मग घरासमोर किल्ला चांगला कि शेतातला चांगला यावर गहन चर्चा. किल्ला बनायला सुरु झाला की बाबांपुढे फटाके आणायची भुणभुण सूरु. मग एक दिवस सख्खे चुलत मावस सगळ्याची वरात फटाके आणायला. बाबा काका मामा याना घरुन सुचना होत्याच की मोठे फटाके बाँब नाही द्यायचे. एकतर जीवाला घोर आणी दुपारच्या झोपेच खोबर. तरी फटाके यायचेच. मग त्याची वाटणी त्यात वाद ती मजा औरच. दिवाळीच्या फराळाची देवाण घेवाण. थंडीत ते तेल उटण खसाखसा चोळुन देणारी आई काकू. ती ओवाळणी ती भाऊबीज..... गेले ते दिवस..... दिवस पुढे गेले. आता काॅलेजच्या हाॅस्टेल रुममधे चर्चा ....पाम येताना आउच्या हातचा बेसनाच्या लाडूंचा डबा नसेल तर रुममधे एंट्री नाही हां आताच सांगून ठेवतो. अरे ए लाडू ठेव बाजूला ...इथे टर्म सुटेल की नाही याच टेन्शन आहे. उगाच पिक्चरल...
